Jil Sander and Rick Owens Neutral Scarves Are Great Tummy Hiders!

While shopping in New York City we found two must-have scarves that we loved! They truly make any outfit complete! The first is Jil Sander's Woven Linen Modal Scarf in beige and the other is from one our favorite fashion-forward designers (especially love his shoes), Rick Ownes Woven Foulard in DNA Dust. We know neon is huge but we still love the muted color trend. Both of the scarves are simple and very chic. The right scarf can make any outfit look sophisticated and up to date!
They look great paired with the neutral palette as shown. These scarves combine simplicity, elegance and a twist of edginess. The length of theses scarves make these wraps perfect for day or evening. Of course these scarves can also be worn with so much in your wardrobe. Before you leave the house....knot, twist, tie, wrap, toss or throw and you're all set to go!
Remember a scarf can hide a multitude of sins...( bulging tummy, bra that's too tight, flabby arms, wrinkled neck..you get the picture!) Click this link to indulge! Scarves are the go-to staple that every fashionista should have in her closet. ( the best tummy hider!)

Wolford Tiger Print Tights Are Roaring!
ALEXANDER MCQUEEN'S Ever-So Cool Booties!
Look no further! Alexander McQueen's calf leather ankle booties are edgy and ever-so cool!
We love the design, attention to detail and the fashion forward style. McQueen's Leather Faithful Boots feature gold tone hardware, a peep toe, a front gold zip closure and a leather covered heel. We love options...and you have three great choices with amazing (sexy) heel appeal. The leather and pony skin boots are beyond cool but if those are too funky then you have two other amazing choices! We can't attest to comfort but we can to style. You may want to throw on McQueeen's iconic Print Silk Chiffon Scarf for a total funky look!

People StyleWatch Editor Scoops About "The Blazer" to A Few Goody Gumdrops!
We are so excited to have People StyleWatch Senior Market Editor, Marissa Rubin, answer some of our questions about this season's Blazer!
1.Is The Blazer still a wardobe staple? Yes, the blazer is still a wardrobe staple. Despite going through different incarnations each season—cropped, boyfriend, sharp shoulder, schoolboy, double-breasted, etc—it's a classic silhouette that should always be a part of a women's wardrobe.
2.Are fashionistas wearing these more decorative and high style blazers with jeans? Fashionistas are definitely wearing these more decorative and fashion forward blazers with jeans! In fact, these styles add an element of dressiness and formality to an otherwise casual denim ensemble. We love the juxtaposition!
3.Does a blazer complete a look? I wouldn't say it completes a look—as you can have a finished look without a jacket, but it definitely polishes it up.
4.What are some blazers you would recommend for this season? Ah, so many that I would recommend! Elizabeth and James for floral or neon blazers. Jenni Kayne or Cut 25 for colorblock blazers. J.Crew for classic schoolboy blazers. Balmain for statement-making embellished blazers. And Theyskens Theory for shoulder-defining blazers that add great shape to any figure.
5.I personally love a black or navy blazer. Are blazers more popular now in bright colors? Across the board bright colors are more popular than ever. And for Spring 2012 they feel like the freshest incarnation of the blazer—particularly in neons and vibrant saturated hues. A bright blazer is a great way to add a pop of color to your outfit—and if you are bold, take a cue from the runways and wear it over a colored top or pant for a colorblocked look.
6.Is that worth the investment since bright colors are a trend? Fashion is cyclical, so what is a trend today, will eventually be a trend tomorrow. That being said, if I were investing in a bright color, I would opt for a primary color like red or cobalt that are always on trend and universally flattering.
7.How would you show a blazer? I love the idea of wearing a printed blazer over a printed blouse or tee paired back to cropped skinny jeans and great heels. And I also like the idea of mixing neons/brights with complimentary neutrals or pastels. For example, a blush tone blazer over a neon pink blouse paired back with blush tone cigarette pants.
Thanks to Marissa for her update on the Blazer!

Get Your Clutches on Eddie Parker's Lacquered Confetti Bags!
As you contemplate the contours and mirrored opalescence of Eddie Parker’s Flavia Geo and Jean Geo clutches, you may feel a bit of magic, mystery and general “aliveness.” Not to get too over top about it, but there is something transcendent and even spiritual about the shimmering mica lacquer.
The Jean Geo features a diagonal stripe pattern of blue, turquoise, and deep emerald as well as silver and gold tone hardware. The interior is mica bedecked as well and comes with a large built in mirror. The Geo clutch features horizontal mica stripes and pearlescent ocean and amethyst colors.
The Flavia Geo clutch also resembles (in some fashion) the WMAP telescopic probes highly publicized picture of our universe at age 3 minutes. One can easily imagine the little shimmers and swirls of pearlescence to be pictures of distant galaxies filled with trillions of stars, peering towards us from billions of light years away.
