Fall’s Latest Must-Haves from My Trip to NYC!

I’ve been in New York City for the past two days….I’m exhausted but not exhausted enough to tell you about some of fall’s chicest finds! Leopard bags and shoes continue to be ever-so strong. I actually just purchased a leopard pair of Roger Vivier flats with the matching leopard Pilgrim buckle and I’m thinking about Walter Steiger’s leopard booties. Fell in love with Jil Sander’s leopard clutch and Prada’s leopard totes, too! It’s all about being “spotted”.

Leather continues to be huge…leggings, pants, dresses, tops and jackets.Platforms with invisible heels are still here….have no clue why! Very high but funky heels are so in. Lots of nice trousers replacing jeans for certain occasions. Every designer from Louboutin to Balenciaga is featuring sneakers. Even Chanel has a tweed pair of pricey ”converse-esque” looking sneakers. Eye lash extensions will still be the rage along with Essie’s latest shades. (can you belive she is opening up a salon in NYC ???) Big chunky necklaces and wide bracelets were selling like “hot cakes”. Had those, too! (at Sarabeth’s Kitchen) Believe it or not….Marant’s Bekket’s were plentiful.
