The fashion artists at Givenchy deeply understand this concept, apparently, because they’ve created a sumptuous, almost paper mache-like (really high end paper mache, that is) concoction. The new Obsedia Lined Sheepskin clutch is dazzlingly simple, smooth and almost dappled looking. Ever since, as kids, we learned about the cozy relationship between Mary and her little lamb, we secretly have all had something of an obsession with wool and other sheep products (The non-vegetarians out there also know that a roasted rack of lamb with mint jelly on the side is essentially God’s perfection. But let’s keep that to ourselves… and not tell Mary!).
The clutch is as simple as it is sumptuous. It looks perfectly “iPad sized” with a simple locking cross-like clasp on the front. It’s perfect for carrying small work files, accessories, personal effects, and other goodies. Even just looking at a picture of the clutch on your computer monitor, you can see how delightful the rippled, soft, feathery texture looks like.
Can’t you just imagine running your hand along the clutch and feeling all those different rivets and rivulets – kind of like how it feels to run your hand over one of those old globes of the earth (where the mountains felt like little ridges)?
This Givenchy clutch is available in both black and emerald colors, so it should match practically any look or outfit you have (honestly, what DO you own that doesn’t go well with black?) We love the emerald color!
