Feminine Oxfords Continue To Be A Spring Staple! Menswear-inspired styles adapted for the feminine fashion arena is certainly no new trick of the trade, but few recent takes on the trend seem to have the same shelf life as the girlie oxford flat. The style resurfaced a couple years ago as part of the influx of boyfriend-inspired everything (blazers, shorts, cardigans — you name it), and while the main concept stays rather consistent, these girlie takes on the traditional men’s shoe are always getting seasonal updates to keep the look fresh! This spring is no exception, and I have to say I’m loving the new spins the oxford is getting treated with this season! And of course, if you’re not afraid to try out festive prints, I love these Steve Madden ‘Trouser’ Oxfords for their floral pattern (and of course, their faux laces for easy slip-on wear doesn’t hurt either)!
